A panel discussion presented by HPMA and sponsored by Loloi entitled “Redefining Design Success: Breaking Creative Boundaries and Building Momentum,” will feature top designers Jeremiah Brent, Noz Nozawa, Mikel Welch, Brian Paquette and Ashley Montgomery. Moderated by Dennis Scully, the speakers will reveal how to forge success in the business of design by embracing roads less traveled.

Gabby Barrett and Sister Sledge to Headline Center Stage at Spring Market

HIGH POINT, N.C., February 10, 2025 – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) announces Gabby Barrett and Sister Sledge as this season’s Center Stage opening weekend headliners, April 26 and 27. Gabby Barrett will take the stage on Sunday, April 27, at 7pm. Performing since age 11, she skyrocketed to country music fame with her 2020 debut single, “I Hope.” The song ruled Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for a record-breaking 27 weeks, making Barrett the youngest artist with a number-one country radio hit in over twenty years. Since then, she has topped 2.6 billion global streams and became the first artist in country music history with the most first-week debut album streams for “Goldmine.” The record dominated Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for three weeks and reached platinum for the song “The Good Ones.”

Registration Opens for Spring High Point Market, April 26-30

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 28, 2025– High Point Market Authority (HPMA), organizer of the world’s largest furnishings trade show, opens its online registration today for the Spring edition of its biannual trade-only event, scheduled April 26-30. Early registration to attend High Point Market is available at no charge to U.S. and international buyers, including retailers, residential and commercial interior designers; as well as for press registration, exhibitor personnel and students. A registration fee is required for all other industry professionals. All qualifying registrants will be issued a Market pass, which is required for entry into buildings and showrooms across the 13-block Market District. Guests who register prior to April 11 (or March 28 for international attendees) will receive their Market pass in the mail.

HPMA Announces 2025 Board of Directors Updates

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 14, 2025 – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) updates to its board of directors will be effective January 1, 2025. Four incoming board members will serve a two-year term ending in December 2026. The new additions include Den Cralle, president, Green Front Furniture; DuVäl Reynolds, owner, DuVäl Design; Kevin Baker, executive director, Piedmont Triad International Airport Authority; and George Jordan, president, MT Company. The board updates were announced at last October's HPMA board meeting during the Fall 2024 Market.

HPMA Accepting Spring Design Influencers Tour Applications

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 13, 2025 – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) calls for applicants to its Design Influencers Tour program at High Point Market, organized in partnership with Esteem Media. Interior designers and other design-focused influencers must apply by Friday, February 14 to be considered. During April Market, ten design influencers will tour sponsoring showrooms for two days to identify their top home furnishing and decor finds. Candidates will be selected based on their social media or blog following, content quality and posting frequency. Selected influencers will be tasked with reporting, from their unique perspective, on the home furnishings products and other High Point Market experiences they encounter after visiting each stop on the organized tour. In exchange for participating this season, HPMA and Esteem Media will provide each influencer with a fee for creator services, along with accommodations for travel expenses.
