Showroom news for Spring Market, June 5-9, includes new digs and growing footprints for several exhibitors.
After announcing their intention in late 2019 to renovate the 1925 historic YMCA building in downtown High Point, Riverside Furniture is set to unveil the restored, four-story complex, with approximately 40,000 square feet on the first two floors dedicated to showroom space.
Italian leather upholstery specialist Incanto Italia and heritage furniture maker Whittier Wood from Canada are moving their showrooms to the three-floor 220 Elm building located at 220 S. Elm St.
Seven new exhibitors will make their new, temporary homes in InterHall, on the ground floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC); which will also house a specially curated “pop-up” display to supplement 90,000 square foot space occupied by industry stalwart Hooker Furniture on the building’s 10th floor.
Also located in the IHFC, Commerce Wing, the contemporary modern furniture resource Moe’s Home Collection has expanded their existing showroom by 50 percent, to measure 15,000 square feet.
Malouf, a Certified B Corporation®, nearly doubles its furniture showroom area with the addition of just under 8,000 square feet on the ground floor of Market on Green.
In the Hamilton Wrenn Design District, Coleccione Alexandra. and Itinerant Studios will take up new spaces to exhibit the former’s Made in Spain furnishings, and the latter’s art, accents and new custom upholstery products, respectively.
