HPMA Names 2024 Community Impact Award Recipient

HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 7, 2024 – The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) names local business FASTSIGNS as its 2024 High Point Market Community Impact Award recipient.

FASTSIGNS, a custom signage shop located at 1305 N. Main St., is recognized for cultivating a welcoming, hospitable environment for all High Point Market guests and visitors.

For over 25 years, FASTSIGNS has served HPMA and its exhibitors seasonally, by providing solutions for innumerable visual communications needs. Custom signs, banners, interior canvas printing, wall and elevator wraps, floor decals and 3D custom-cut exterior signs are among the items produced. Their services help businesses attract customers, enhance visibility, and effectively communicate brand messaging.

“The FASTSIGNS team is acknowledged for their dedication to serving Market exhibitors and buildings with excellent communications tools, from branding to wayfinding and more,” says Tammy Covington Nagem, HPMA president and CEO. “As a pillar of the High Point business community, we are pleased to honor their contributions at each High Point Market and beyond.”

“It’s an incredible honor to receive this award and to be recognized for what we do,” says Veroniek Fraeye, owner, FASTSIGNS of High Point. “We will continue to strive to live up to this award for many years to come.”

The High Point Market Community Impact Award recognizes local High Point businesses or individuals who provide exceptional hospitality and support to Market attendees. As an award recipient, FASTSIGNS will receive a commemorative, stainless steel sculpture created by local artisan Justin Stabb to display at their location. HPMA commissioned the five-foot-tall artwork to represent how High Point Market, the world’s most significant home furnishings trade show, is entwined with its host city.

“We appreciate everything the High Point Market Authority does to boost and promote our city as the premier home furnishings trade show to the world,” says Joan Campbell, sales manager, FASTSIGNS of High Point. “We aim to give outstanding customer service and quality products, not only to this amazing organization, but to all our furniture market guests and the local community.”

The biannual Market, held each April and October, draws up to 75,000 domestic and international visitors to High Point seasonally, contributing approximately $202 million in local tax revenue annually.

An official award presentation will be held later this fall. For more information on the High Point Market Community Impact Award, contact Ben Muller, vice president of marketing and communications, ben@highpointmarket.org.
