IFDA points to the future

The International Furnishings and Design Assn. (IFDA) highlights emerging business trends and opportunities from industry heavy-hitters at DesignEDGE Summit, a free, half-day event focused on what’s next for design professionals.

This fall’s program includes Hall of Fame architect, interior designer and product designer Lauren Rottet; Elle Décor A-List designer and the force behind afro-centric brand Harlem Toile de Jouy, Sheila Bridges; and celebrated New York-based designer with multiple editorial credits to her name, Young Huh, whose installment at this year’s Kips Bay Showhouse was widely lauded.

Architectural specifiers and interior designers gain access to information and to exhibitors focused on the hospitality design sector. Almost 40 participating exhibitors sell products that meet hospitality-grade requirements.

Designers will learn how to navigate the crossover between residential and commercial design opportunities on Mon., Oct. 21, from 9am to 12:30pm, in the IHFC Ballroom, 11th fl. (Green Wing)

An RSVP is required to participate.
