Perfect Pairings

Like a great meal and fine wine, these design entities are even better paired together

Fine Furniture Design

Going well beyond the man cave, readers of Esquire – an iconic title in publishing for the latest in men’s fashion and culture news – will be among those to appreciate a new furniture offering from Fine Furniture Design. Produced with the magazine’s style experts, the Esquire Home Collection debut is a must-see at April Market, including 38 case good items and 12 upholstery silhouettes. Female sophisticates are sure to get the appeal, too.

Pearson Furniture Company

Maximalism shouts full-throated its return to interior design as the Tony Duquette Collection at Pearson Furniture Company hits the Market scene this month. Developed with Hutton Wilkinson, president of Tony Duquette, Inc., new upholstery styles reflect on the flamboyant design pair’s early work together, outfitting homes of the rich, famous, and fabulous.

Arteriors Home

Celebrated interior designer Celerie Kemble sprinkles gold dust on her first collection for Arteriors Home. While her concentration is on lighting styles, including the vintage, mid-century Italian and Parisian looks she favors, Kemble deftly works in an assortment of occasional furnishings and decorative accessories. In all, it’s the details that sing, like finishes with eglomisé and milk glass, verdigris and gold leaf metals.

Castelle

Custom cast-aluminum furnishings specialist Castelle takes outdoor lounging seriously, including in its newest collaboration with interior design star Barclay Butera. The luxury-friendly Palm Springs collection launches with dozens of product options; an educational, Q&A event on the topic of design for outdoor living; and a cocktail reception on Market’s opening night of April 14.

Henredon Furniture

The esteemed New York interior designer David Kleinberg punctuates his thirty-year career with 40 new furniture designs for Henredon Furniture. Kleinberg and design partner Matthew Bemis deliver clean-lines and a modern sensibility to their first home furnishings collaboration. Six new lacquer finishes will add a dash of practical glamour to every room.

Tempaper

It’s difficult to imagine a home decor category as yet untouched by the signature contemporary stylings of Cortney and Robert Novogratz. But the couple’s first foray into wallcoverings with Tempaper has been worth waiting for. Quirky prints and fearless colorways spark the pair’s creative interests, and their new collection of removable, environmentally-safe wallpaper styles has, thankfully, not been spared.
