Independent startup CUR8 will bring tomorrow's designs to Fall High Point Market, led by industry talent Gregory O'Neal and co-founder Jasmine Jaco. Offering a specific, curated assortment of innovative home goods unique to the marketplace, CUR8's vision is creating smarter, healthier interiors that make a positive impact on people's lives.

After searching the world for the latest smart products and design innovation, the resource will launch products at Market such as illuminated benches that "dance" to music and voice - and touch - controlled tables that wirelessly charge devices, change colors and visually indicate calls and calendar alerts.

In addition to sourcing internet-connected and interactive furniture, CUR8 also brings to market products boasting smart manufacturing, such as its 3D-printed Wave City table by Cyprus-based designer Stelios Mousarris. Sustainable product design is another key focus, evident in its "Reform Stool" and "Reform Grammy Chair" featuring upholstered seats made from recycled plastic bags.

Internationally known for designs that transcend aesthetic margins while melding traditional techniques with contemporary forms, Kenneth Cobonpue introduces his eponymous label of accent furnishings and lighting to retailers and interior designers in SALON this fall. Cobonpue is recognized for his imaginative use of natural materials and ecologically sensitive production methods, and was named 2014 Maison & Objet Designer of the Year.

An inaugural InterHall showing for Percy Gray at High Point Market showcases the up-and-coming contemporary design house along with its user-friendly and human-centered furnishings. Owner and creative director Meredith Payne is committed to the honest use of materials, innovation and U.S. production.
