Brand Ambition

Collaborations propel exhibitor offerings

Universal Furniture debuts Love. Joy. Bliss, the inaugural whole home collection from Miranda Kerr Home, the brand’s latest collaborative endeavor. As a partner in the design process, global style icon Miranda Kerr cites femininity, fashion and nature as inspiration for the nearly 50-item launch.

Kindel Grand Rapids takes collaboration to the next level, with six designers creating signature looks for its new Facets Collection of USA-made case goods. Interior designer Robyn Branch, for example, puts her spin on a bar cabinet with overscaled Greek Key hardware and a sleek black lacquer base.

Home Meridian International taps American sports legend and entertainment personality Terry Bradshaw to launch its new collection of casual motion upholstery and correlating entertainment, occasional, accent and bar items. Super Bowl parties will never be the same.

Michael Berman interprets American Modernism in his second collaboration with Kravet Furniture. Original designs inspired by the Brutalist architectural movement of the ‘70s include the Frank cabinet, with its artful, layered facade. Among the standout upholstered items are a round chaise and ottoman.

Theodore Alexander introduces its next collection with Hong Kong-based architect and designer Stephen Leung, whose work receives international recognition. New designs include case goods and upholstery, such as a dramatically sloped sofa frame with splayed legs capped in a bronze finish.
