High Point Market - Announces Design Viewpoints Series Sessions for Fall Market 2017

High Point, NC, August 9, 2017 — The High Point Market Authority, in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), has set the schedule for its popular educational seminar series for Fall Market, October 14- 18, 2017. The Design Viewpoints Series (DVS) will take place October 14-16, at the High Point Theatre, next to the Transportation Terminal in downtown High Point. Designers can earn up to .4 IDCEC-approved continuing education units (CEUs) through the series.

The Design Viewpoints Series sessions are free and open to all interior designers, retailers, and other Market attendees with a valid Fall Market pass. On tap for the series are four thought-provoking seminars led by design industry experts on a variety of topics, including design preservation, conducting business globally, breaking into hospitality design, and tips and tricks for getting published.

“The Design Viewpoints Series has consistently been able to deliver high-quality speakers in a convenient location with relevant, business-focused topics, and we find all of these factors come together to provide quite a valuable resource for designers and others coming to Market,” commented Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority.

“We carefully and intentionally selected these topics for the Design Viewpoints Series because we view them as being on the leading edge of how design impacts lives,” said Randy Fiser, Hon. FASID, CEO, ASID. “We want everyone attending a DVS session to walk away with useful and actionable information they can begin applying immediately to their design businesses. We’re very excited to share a wealth of information via the industry experts who will join us for each session at the leading home furnishings trade show in the world.”
