High Point Market - Announces Stars Under the Stars Entertainment for Spring Market 2017
High Point, NC, February 28, 2017 — Stars Under the Stars, the popular series of events at High Point Market, is offering two unique nights of entertainment at Spring Market, April 22 - 26, 2017.
On Saturday, April 22, platinum-selling, multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Award winning star Trisha Yearwood will grace Center Stage with one of the most powerful voices in country music. From the moment her very first hit, “She’s In Love With The Boy”, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart in 1991, Trisha has been recognized as a world-class interpreter of emotion. Over the course of her highly successful career, many of her songs, such as “Georgia Rain,” “Wrong Side of Memphis,” “XXX’s and OOO’s (An American Girl)”, and “Broken” have become well-loved staples of American music. In addition, she has excelled as a best-selling cookbook author and, with High Point Market exhibitor Klaussner Home Furnishings, creator of an irresistible collection of home furnishings that express craftsmanship, comfort, and tasteful authenticity. On Sunday, April 23, the world-traveling group Dirty Loops will light up Center Stage with their inventive, intense, and infectious reimagining of fusion pop. Described as a band that defies definition, this group of Swedish musicians is in it for the fun and creativity. Their energetic covers of top tunes from pop stars like Lady Gaga, Adele, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake have been viral sensations, garnering more than 19 million YouTube views. Their first original single, “Hit Me,” scored a top 10 hit in Japan in 2014, and the group recently toured with Grammy Award-winning Maroon 5 in Asia and Australia.
Doors open for all events at 7:00 p.m. at Center Stage, between the Transportation Terminal
and Showplace, and the concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. Early entry for market-goers who have been issued a Buyer pass will begin at 6:45 pm. Food and drinks are provided to all
market-goers with a current Spring Market pass and photo ID. No one under the age of 15 will
